As a firm believer of growth, I challenged myself to take on the role as VP on the SOTA board to enhance my leadership skills and to gain personal relationships with the student body. The best part of taking on this role is being able to empower my fellow colleagues in fulfilling their goals by listening to their creative ideas and bringing it to life!
During this pandemic and on behalf of SOTA, we want to remind everyone that we are still available to provide support remotely. I understand that this program is rigorous and may result in emotional distress (I’ve had a couple, you’re not alone), so please do not forget to take the time to cater to your personal needs. As we adapt to this online format and fulfill our student obligations, be sure to maintain your relationships with your cohort and faculty as we are all in this together. As your VP, I will continuously advocate for your concerns and innovative ideas to enhance our unforgettable experience here at WCU!
